As new expectations and new roles are being associated with the business analysis practice, the business analysis practitioner is responding.

Cybersecurity analyst, product analyst, and other roles are emerging as are the expectations associated with them.

Systems analyst, product owners, business analyst, data analyst, and other roles can be quite different what what they were five years ago.

A common thread is the expectation that the business analysis practice and business analysis practitioner are being expected to articulate the need of the business, speak the narrative of the engagement whether it is a product life cycle, a project, an initiative, or a sprint.

This requires the ability for storytelling, influence, and persuasion. This requires knowing when the BABOK v3 techniques have served their purpose but once the assessment is done, they are not needed for the decision making process. You have done the analysis, performed an assessment, and now need to provide value to the decision making process.

How do you deliver a presentation that captures an initiative's complexity while contributing to the confidence needed in the decision making process?
