A hackathon (also known as a hack day, hackfest or codefest) is an event in which business analysts and others involved in software development, process improvement and change management, including project managers, partners and stakeholders, collaborate intensively on deliverables. Hackathons typically last between a several hours and a week. Some hackathons are intended simply for educational or social purposes, although in many cases the goal is to create usable deliverables. Hackathons tend to have a specific focus, solving a nonprofit’s issue, learning a task or array of techniques first hand. The participants walk away with real life experience and hours towards their IIBA certifications.

There is not a membership requirement to attend this event. All are welcome.
