This two hour session will provide:

·  a brief introduction to the Use Case approach to requirements documentation

·  a description of eight fundamental good practices for creating effective Use Cases

·  a walkthrough of a Use Case example that demonstrates these good practices

·  an opportunity to practice what you have learned in a team exercise to create a Use Case

The session assumes no previous knowledge or experience in Use Cases.


Intimate small group sessions, discussions with a live Q and A element added for fun.

      Agenda: 6:00 – 7:00 pm Lecture followed by a Demo/Labs from 7:00 – 8:00 pm

      Tony Alderson has been an information systems professional for more than 30 years, working as an independent consultant and trainer for the past 15 years. 

      His experience includes project management, information technology planning, business process re-engineering, business and systems analysis, data, process and use case modeling, technical writing and technical communication. 

      Note: Drop-In Clinics are part of the Toronto Chapter member benefits.  As such, the session is for Toronto Chapter Members ONLY.  Registration is required. We will not accept walk-ins as there is a maximum capacity of 25 people.
