Volunteers are the foundation that keeps to IIBA Toronto Chapter going!

As an IIBA Toronto Chapter volunteer you will make great professional contacts, expand your knowledge and develop your leadership skills.

Serving as a volunteer of IIBA Toronto Chapter will give you an opportunity to actively participate in the profession of Business Analysis, and to contribute to the development and future growth of the chapter in the Toronto area.

Additionally, as an IIBA volunteer you will make build and develop a strong sense of community, develop your networking and leadership skills, and build your brand within the Toronto BA community. Volunteer hours may be used for Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA®) or Certified Business Analysis Professional(CBAP®) re-certification.


Please note that as a volunteer you must meet the following requirements:

  • You are a member of IIBA Toronto Chapter
  • You are willing and able to devote 4 to 6 hours per month to volunteer related work
  • You have access to email, the internet, and a word processing program (compatible with Microsoft Word)
  • You are willing and able to attend committee meetings, as scheduled, via conference call or in person
  • You are willing to listen to the opinions and ideas of others, to share your own ideas and opinions, and to contribute to the work groups in an effort to reach consensus, as required
